        President and owner of "Human Resource Management Associates, Inc.," (HRMA) (February 1984 to present).  

HRMA is a management-consulting firm located at 13407 N. Amiss Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70810-5036, telephone (225) 337-3012.  HRMA specializes in human resource management, management training and organization development.  Consulting activities include job analysis, preparing personnel policy handbooks, employee selection, performance appraisal, training needs assessment, management training, interpersonal conflict mediation and interpersonal skill building, team development, group problem solving, strategic planning, organizational attitude surveys and organization development.

TEACHING/ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

        Designing and teaching management development programs in (the Division of) Continuing Education at LSU. The programs include Beginning Employment Success Today, Interpersonal Skills in the Workplace, Fundamentals of Supervision, Developing Your Managerial Effectiveness, Managing the Overall Enterprise, Leading the Organization of Tomorrow, The Practical and Legal Aspects of Staffing, Managing Employees, Managing Benefits and Employee Relations, and Workplace Investigation Essentials. The various courses are core to the Management and Leadership and Human Resource Management certificates offered by Continuing Education. In addition to these open-enrollment programs, I design and teach customized programs for specific organizations and businesses under the auspices of Continuing Education. (1984-present)
